Description
We are living in a world where children experience and live with the effects trauma on a daily basis, more so, it can be argued, with the current pandemic. Trauma is increasingly recognised as a condition needing identification, intervention and ongoing support, particularly in relation to children as early intervention can effect a real change in terms of future life chances, aspirations and experiences of adulthood. This course will introduce you to a range of interventional strategies that can be used to successfully support children living with trauma. This course is suitable for those in education and care roles working with children and the early years. You will learn through a range of on-line lectures, interactive learning tasks and case studies and you will be supported in your learning by an appropriate subject expert.
